After graduating from TUHS, I attended COS for two years then went on to graduate from San Francisco State College in 1965. Following one year of graduate study, I enlisted in the US Army, was commissioned through Infantry Officer Candidate School, and served on active duty for four years. Following my separation from the Army, I remained in the Army Reserve, retiring after 21 years of military service. In civilian life (subsequent to my release from active duty), I was employed by the Department of Army as a civilian administrator at Presidio of San Francisco, CA for 9 years, then began a 27-year career as a civilian Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) with worldwide assignments in the United States, Western Pacific, and Europe. Since my retirement from NCIS in 2007, my wife Chong Hui and I have been residing in Redmond, WA near our three children and four grandchildren.
